#CaLeg Leadership in Sacramento is finally taking corporate greed head on. Profitable giant corporations are using federal tax breaks to fund stock buybacks while California taxpayers foot the bill for their workers' healthcare. The CA Senate’s new budget proposal requires the largest corps to pay and offset the Medi-Cal costs they’ve offloaded onto us. We applaud this bold step toward a fairer California.

Is that right? 45% of profitable corporations only pay $800 in state income tax? That’s less than my rent. I’m tired of the system being rigged against us. I’m supporting the California Senate’s fair revenue plan to make corporations pay their fare share.
