STOP CORPORATE FREELOADERS

The Governor’s Office has released its revised budget – limiting corporate loopholes on tax credits. With this, all three budget leaders have announced their support for achieving new revenue by advancing permanent changes to hold corporations accountable to pay their fair share and protect life-saving investments in health care and home care.

The May Revise put real proposals on the table to make corporations pay their share. Now the Governor and Legislature must finish the job — a final budget that funds healthcare, food assistance and schools, not Trump’s MAGA corporate donors. #UnRigCA

We clean the buildings. We staff the hospitals. We care for your parents and teach your kids. We pay our taxes. The corporations we built into giants with record profits? They pay $800. The final budget is where that changes. #UnRigCA

Nearly HALF of profitable corporations doing business in California pay just $800 in state taxes. That's less than a home care worker. Less than a teacher. The final budget can start to fix this. #UnRigCA

Sacramento is writing the final state budget RIGHT NOW. The choice on the table: healthcare for millions of Californians, or another free ride for corporate freeloaders. Tell your legislators to choose us over Trump's MAGA tax cuts. #UnRigCA

Trump's H.R. 1 hands corporations nearly a TRILLION DOLLARS — paid for by ripping healthcare and food assistance away from California families. Our state budget is where we fight back. #UnRigCA

I came to Sacramento to fight for families in my district — not to defend tax loopholes for corporations that pay less in state taxes than my constituents. I'm proud to champion a final #CaBudget that chooses healthcare over corporate tax breaks, and urge the #CaLeg to #UnRigCA

Who receives Medi-Cal? Workers, kids, seniors, veterans. They didn't create this budget challenge, and they shouldn't pay for it. I'm fighting for a #CAbudget deal that protects their care and asks corporations to pay their fair share.

The Senate, the Assembly, and the Governor have all put proposals to defend California against Trump's H.R. 1. Now we finish the job: a final #CaBudget that protects Medi-Cal, food assistance and our clinics, by making corporations pay their fair share. #UnRigCA

A home care worker in my district pays more in state taxes than nearly half the profitable corporations doing business in California. A final #CaBudget that fixes that isn't anti-business, it's common sense. Proud to stand with working families to get this done.

This week I'll fight for a budget that says that in California, healthcare for working families comes before tax breaks for the world's most profitable corporations. That's not a hard choice for me. It's why I serve. #UnRigCA #CaBudget

Trump and MAGA republicans chose corporations over working families with H.R. 1. California's final budget can choose differently: protect Medi-Cal, protect food assistance, make corporate freeloaders pay their share. Which side is Sacramento on? #UnRigCA
